Arriving at the Practice
Our dental practice is modern, with cutting-edge technology and the highest quality materials. It is also warm and inviting, so you and anyone accompanying you will feel at home from the moment you arrive. The team members who will greet you when you enter the reception area are ready to help you check in and complete your new-patient information forms if you haven’t done so beforehand. For the convenience of our patients who feel more comfortable conducting their appointments in a language other than English, we have team members who speak and understand Vietnamese, Hindi, Gujarati, Tagalog, Shona, and Polish.
Once you have checked in and completed your new-patient information forms, you can relax in our comfortable waiting area until your appointment time. You should be called back to begin your appointment right at the scheduled time or within a few minutes. We respect your valuable time and will do our best to ensure you receive prompt and friendly service.
Your Appointment
As a new patient, expect to spend an hour and a half to two hours with us for your first visit. These appointments take longer than average because we are thorough. We gather all the information we need to learn about your health history, your current oral health, your needs and concerns, and your goals for your smile.
During your visit, we will take digital X-rays and photos of your teeth, mouth, jaw, head, and neck. We will clean your teeth and examine your mouth for tooth decay, enamel damage, gum disease, oral cancer, and other potential oral health problems. After the examination, your dentist will meet with you to discuss the results, recommend treatments to fix any immediate problems, and help you plan any future procedures you may need or desire. We encourage you to ask questions at any point during your appointment. Your oral health is important; we’re here to help.
